(Dis)comfort Gourd: I eat and I eat and I eat (2022)

Chicken wire, paper, pva glue, twine, cotton string, latex, acrylic, sand, sunflower seed husks, sheep’s wool and salt dough

"I eat and I eat and I eat" tells a story of overwhelming fullness. Of stuffing, overspilling and overeating. Home feels less abstract when eating home-cooked food. My stomach grounds me to the earth.
